Provides vessel traffic control, ship piloting and mooring and shipping and agency services for visiting vessels; and marine maintenance, vessel inspection and security controls for the port facility.

Manages infrastructure & development projects as well as ongoing infrastructure and civil maintenance activity for all MIC areas of responsibility. Provides technical site support to all MIC industries and end users.

Plans and monitors all environmental activities related to the Mesaieed region. Manages the national hazardous waste treatment plant and the domestic wastewater treatment plant. Provides for the disposal of all waste and is responsible for the management of MIC landfills.

Industrial Security
Provides general services (facilities) for the industrial, port and community areas of MIC. Manages MIC facilities such as housing, offices, parks, recreation, and shopping/commercial areas. Ensures security at all MIC main entry gates, issues and controls gate passes and in addition carries out patrolling within the MIC industrial area. Provides public relations function for MIC and is MIC’s link to the community and its residents.
